Rajiv Gandhi: Voting Age from 21 to 18

Rajiv Ji reduced the age of voting from 21 to 18 to strengthen the voice of the youth, enabling 5 crore young people to exercise their franchise in 1989.
61st Amendment to the Constitution of India was passed to this effect in 1989.
